HOW YOU CAN HELP

We rescue dogs from kill shelters and see them through to adoption, providing any medical and other care needed while the dog is foster care, and ensuring adoption in a loving forever home.

APFP is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. There are many ways you can help us continue to save lives. In many cases, you don't even have to leave your house!

And that means two things!

First, we have many puppies in foster care who have not yet made it to our website. Please contact us about putting an adoption hold on one of our puppies.

Secondly, we need puppy fosters! Sometimes we have the nursing mama for her babies, and sometimes the babies need to be bottle fed. Or, they could be on solid food but not yet old enough to be adopted. No foster experience needed! We will gladly teach you everything you need to know!

FOSTERS NEEDED!

Foster caregivers provide the loving, nurturing environment for the dog while they are between the shelter and their forever home. All foster expenses are paid for by APFP.  As a foster, you will be the bridge from struggling to saved.
